At the Institute of Education, we work collaboratively to empower colleagues to enrich pupils’ educational experiences so that they may thrive in an ever-changing world.
Dynamic teaching, wider curriculum opportunities and an inclusive ethos result in a transformative educational experience for the pupils attending Wonder schools. High-quality teaching and learning is a central tenet of our core values. Through effective pedagogical approaches, we believe that every child can reach their potential.
In collaboration with teachers, we have created an instructional framework that ensures every child experience teaching based on evidence-informed best practice. We are driven by a collective vision of exemplary instruction.

The Wonder Institute of Education team work as servant leaders, to promote positive change and growth for the children, colleagues, and schools, both within and outside of the Wonder Learning Partnership.
Our vision is to create an educational ecosystem where professionals are empowered, pupils’ lives are enriched, and every learner is equipped to thrive in a world in which the only constant is change. We are committed to providing dynamic, inspirational teaching that is accessible to all.
Together in Partnership Across Yorkshire
We recognise that teacher time is precious and professional development can present a financial challenge. Our aim is to work together to provide a platform for meaningful collaboration, enabling schools to learn from one another with the needs of schools, rural communities, and pupils at the heart of our decision making.
The content of our forums is evidence-informed, up to date and contextually relevant to classrooms, schools and the regional areas across North Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We are also delighted to be working with key, strategic partners to deliver our offer: York St John’s University, supporting our early careers development and Vantage Teaching School to lead on the delivery of an NPQ in Leading Teaching.
Together we can do something remarkable, so that all our children and young people have a first-class educational experience. Whether you work with us already or we have yet to meet, we look forward to spending time with you and learning together.
