Leading for Positive Change
The content of our development work is evidence-informed, up to date and contextually relevant to classrooms, schools and the regional areas across North Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Our offer is provided in relaxed professional environments, that are local and conducive to learning, networking, and building working relationships with colleagues in your area. All the Wonder improvement team remain active as teaching practitioners and educational leaders. Our support is therefore designed with insight into the current challenges that teachers and school leaders face daily.
In addition to in-school development, we facilitate networking opportunities where you can meet familiar faces and make connections. We hope to act as a conduit for schools in our glorious but vast geographical home, so that together we can build a community of schools, where new and exciting ideas are proliferated.

High-quality teaching and learning is a central tenet of our core values. Through effective pedagogical approaches, we believe that every child can reach their potential.
In collaboration with teachers, we have created an instructional framework that ensures every child experience teaching based on evidence-informed best practice. We are driven by a collective vision of exemplary instruction.
We know that children at different ages and stages require different approaches. The framework we created does not specify how to teach; it can be applied to play-based provision, child-initiated learning, collaborative learning and teacher-led instruction.
Using a framework also means that we can offer effective professional development to all teachers in our Trust and know that all children in our care receive a consistent, ambitious education that is rooted in best practice.
If you would like to know more about our framework and how we can help you develop Reaching and Learning in your school, please contact us Contact us | Wonder Learning Partnership

Everyone’s Responsibility
A strong culture of safeguarding is an essential statutory aspect of any school. We are committed to and have a duty to ensure that safeguarding permeates all activities and functions.
Our Safeguarding offer crosses both culture and practice in the safeguarding and pastoral care of our children so that everyone can act in the best interests of young people.
In addition to school improvement support, we offer Safeguarding Audits which provide a detailed review of a school’s safeguarding procedures and culture. The process is utterly bespoke to your school and context, so do contact the team if this interests you.

Empowering Governors to Challenge & Support Schools
We are proud to have a strong local governance presence in our Trust and across our schools. The contribution and positive impact our governors provide within our school communities is of great value and the relationship between schools, parents and governors is maintained through the unified foundation of heritage, values and community.
Being a governor is hugely rewarding and is an incredibly key role withing the school community for colleagues, pupils and parents. Governors work closely with our headteachers and senior leadership teams ensuring the strategic direction and values of the school are clear and meet stakeholder needs and expectations. There is significant importance placed on governors as they oversee the financial performance of a school and hold leaders to account for the performance of staff and educational performance of pupils and students.
We welcome governors to get in touch if you would like more information about our training and development programme.

Inspiring all learners to excel
We believe that all children have the right to the best education possible. Our curriculum and enrichment programmes across our schools ensure a broad and inspiring experience, creating a thirst for knowledge and a love of learning for all our pupils.
Our Trust takes pride in identifying the needs of our pupils, taking advice from professionals, and monitoring and reviewing to ensure progress is made for pupils to reach their full potential.
Our team has expertise and experience in developing Enhanced Resource Provision and providing up to date and setting relevant knowledge for teachers.
