NPQ in Leading Teaching
Wonder Institute of Education is delighted to be working with EDT and Vantage Teaching School to provide you with an opportunity to participate in a MAT delivered NPQ in Leading Teaching
This qualification:
- Is facilitated via a series of 2-hour twilight face to face sessions, from our local training venues across the East Riding and North Yorkshire
- Will be delivered by designated trainers, with the NPQ in Leading Teacher Development
- Is available to individuals both from within and outside of the WLP trust.
- Will allow you to meet and network with colleagues from your locality.
- Is a fantastic qualification, to aid your progression in your teaching career.
- Will engage with the best available evidence on what works in Educational Leadership.
- Is suitable and contextualised for both primary and secondary colleagues.
- And most importantly, will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive school improvement within your school, phase, year group or department.
The course begins at the end of October/beginning of November 2023 with a one-hour online onboarding event with Vantage. After this all your training sessions will be face to face twilight sessions with the Wonder Institute of Education Designated Trainers.

The NPQ in LT is funded and there is no cost to schools, financially or in time. In the first instance, please contact IOE@WLP.education to register your interest. This will allow Vantage to recognise your application as being MAT led with the Wonder Institute of Education and you will also receive an information sheet on what to do next and how to apply.
