The Wonder Learning Partnership:
Admissions Arrangements

Although we are an academy, our Trust chooses to follow the admissions policies and procedures of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. This allows our schools to have community at heart.

Admissions

The Trust Board formally determined the admissions policies for 2025/2026 and approved the following admission numbers for the following schools with variations to PAN for Pocklington Junior and Melbourne Primary Schools:

Woldgate School and Sixth Form College: 240 places

Stamford Bridge Primary School: 45 places

Pocklington Junior School: 85 places (increase from 80)

Melbourne Primary School: 30 places (increase from 24)

Objections to these determined admission arrangements should be sent to the Schools Adjudicator by 15 May 2024.  Information about how to lodge an objection is available here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/school-admissions-arrangements

The Trust Board of the Wolds Learning Partnership determined the Admission Arrangements for the 2024-2025 school year on 23 February 2023.

The Trust Board formally approved the following documents and approved the following admission numbers for the following schools:

VARIATION: Woldgate School and Sixth Form College: 240 places – Trustees agreed a variation to the PAN (increased from 208) of the Determined Admissions Arrangements 2024/2025 on 27.04.2024. The changed policy is published below.

Stamford Bridge Primary School: 45 places
Pocklington Junior School: 80 places
Melbourne Primary School: 24 places
