Melbourne primary School Cook (Manager)

SCP 5 £21,575 (pro rata for term time working)

31.25 hours per week (term time only)

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Be responsible for the management and production of school meals
  • Follow all policies and procedures set out by the East Riding Catering Services and Government Legislation

Melbourne Primary School After School Club Play Coordinator

Permanent – Part Time

SCP 6 £21,968 (pro rata for term time working)

12.5 hours per week (term time only) – 3.00pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday)

Our After School Club is a popular provision used by parents. We seek to recruit an After School Club Play Co-Ordinator to deliver creative play opportunities in a well organised, safe and caring environment.

The play co-ordinator is responsible for the development and effective running of the after–school club, professional responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and preparing a suitable programme of activities
  • Responsibility for the administration of the club, keeping relevant records
  • Preparation of food (snacks) in line with food safety guidelines
  • Supervision and daily management of staff employed by the club
  • Ensuring the safety children and adopting safeguarding practices
  • Ensuring that the behaviour of the children is in line with school policies
  • Effective and professional communication with parents, the headteacher and staff
  • Carrying out all responsibilities and activities in accordance with the school’s agreed policies
  • Undertaking any other duties and training that may reasonably be regarded as being commensurate with the grade and general purpose of the post

The primary role of the school cleaner is to provide a reactive and proactive cleaning service either before or after school hours. The role requires a high standard of cleaning within the school, creating a clean and safe environment for pupils, staff, and visitors within school.
