Years of planning have come to fruition as Woldgate School opened the doors of its new school building this month. It has been so exciting to witness the awe and wonder created by this new building which boasts state-of-the-art facilities, a central atrium, fabulous school hall and learning spaces. Part of the Department for Education (DfE) Schools Rebuilding Programme, the new school building project is being led by Wates Group. Adele Pinder, Trust Director of Estates has worked closely with school personnel, the DfE and Wates throughout the build. This is only phase one and we can’t wait for work to start on the new sports hall which will be a valuable asset to the Pocklington and surrounding area communities.
