We is seeking to appoint an outstanding Deputy Headteacher, with proven experience of delivering success on a whole school scale, to join our supportive Senior Leadership Team.

This role will provide an exciting and challenging opportunity for a current Deputy Head or an ambitious Assistant Head looking for the next step in their career.

As a Deputy Headteacher, you will:

• Raise the standard of teaching and learning.
• Promote the ethos of the school with pupils, students, parents and colleagues.
• Maximise pupil achievement.
• Safeguard and care for our pupils.
• Develop our holistic education programme.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Whole School Leadership;
• Safeguarding and Child Protection;
• Leading the Care & Achievement and Attendance teams;
• Pupil and Sixth Form student progress;
• Pupil progress for disadvantaged pupils (Pupil Premium, FSM, LAC, SEN and Behavioural);
• Attendance, including promoting good attendance;
• Rewards and Behaviour, including monitoring;
• Development of a personalised curriculum for each pupil, to be reviewed half-termly and annually;
• Curriculum (including Personal Development);
• Pedagogy;
• Holistic Education;
• Target setting;
• Assessment;
• Intervention;
• Timetabling;
• Reporting;
• Examinations;
• Quality Nominee for BTEC;
• Statutory compliance.
