Overview of the School Centred Initial Teacher Education Course

The Wonder Learning Partnership (Wonder) is a Lead Partner, working collaboratively and in partnership with the accredited provider York St John University, to deliver a School centred Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programme. The PGCE element of the course enables you to engage in Masters level study, whereby on passing your academic assignments you will be awarded 60 Masters credits, which is the equivalent of one third of a full Masters. On successfully completing the ITE programme, you will be awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from York St John University, with your graduation ceremony taking place in York Minster.
