Wonder Learning Spaces

Pocklington Junior’s library is a castle theme and features a dragon mural and a knight sculpture called Sir Bob. The artwork was a project with Hull street artist and painter, Maniuko and Sir Bob was created by sculpture artist, Lee Threadgold. The children voted for the theme and then completed the project by sharing their ideas with play area developers, Playscheme who crafted and installed the finished design.

Stamford Bridge themed their new library as the Forest of Knowledge. The space is beautiful and perfectly tranquil for reading. There are lovely little touches incorporating their class animals within the design. Again, the children’s ideas were planned into the final design and installation by Playscheme.

Throughout both of these projects, it has been incredible for the children to be involved and see their ideas come to life. It has been wonderful to work with artists and play equipment developers from our local community too.
