Chris is an experienced IT professional with over 25 years working in both education and the private sector. He has held a number of roles encompassing technology installation, maintenance, management and user support. He also has extensive experience in developing bespoke reporting systems.
Chris leads the Trust Technology, Systems and Data function, providing strategic advice to the COO, CEO, CFO and senior leaders. He is responsible for ensuring pupils and staff have access to the latest software and hardware, supporting the Trusts strategy to transform the quality of the learning environment both internally and externally, by the creation of capacity for growth with new educational resources, equipment and facilities.
The role oversees and manages the implementation of Trust wide digital projects, including those determined through the ‘Big Conversation’, working with colleagues within the Central Team and in schools.
Outside of work, Chris is a keen amateur astrophotographer, using his skills to capture and process photos of distant nebulae and galaxies.
