Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Drive the strategic direction of the school, ensuring alignment with Trust-wide goals and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Teaching & Learning: Lead high-quality teaching and learning to maximise academic progress and instil a lifelong love of learning in our pupils.
  • Curriculum & Ethos: Collaborate to develop an ambitious, sequenced Trust curriculum that inspires curiosity and deepens understanding of the world.
  • Achievement: Monitor and improve academic standards using Trust data and national benchmarks, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
  • Pastoral Care: Create a warm, inclusive and caring environment where every child is known, valued, and supported.
  • Holistic Development: Enrich the lives of pupils and staff through a broad range of opportunities both within and beyond the classroom.

  • A proven track record as a successful Deputy Headteacher or senior leader.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree or equivalent
  • At least 12 months experience of working at senior level in education (Head, Assistant Head or SLT level)
  • Proven track record of raising educational standards
  • National professional qualification for headship (NPQH) is desirable
