Supporting Children’s Mental Health
Know Yourself, Grow Yourself: Children at Stamford Bridge Primary School fully immersed themselves in Place 2 Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week theme of Know Yourself, Grow Yourself. A range of exciting activities were held to raise awareness and learn about the importance of taking care of our mental wellbeing. From creativity to confidence- building, the timetable was packed with opportunities for growth and self- expression. The activities included Singalong Assembly where the children sang their hearts out to favourites from our Know Yourself, Grow Yourself playlist, filling the school with joy and energy! Incredible artwork was created, inspired by Growth Mindset and Mental Health, showcasing our children’s creativity and understanding. Drama sessions were held which were a huge hit with children. The sessions encouraged confidence, communication, and creativity, leaving the children feeling inspired. The school also held a ‘Wear What Makes You Happy Day’.
